Fonts and typography

Interface fonts and authored fonts are separate.

Advanced typography holds OpenType, font synthesis and continuous weight controls.

Small interface text uses SF Pro Text, larger interface headings use SF Pro, and Source uses the configured monospace family. Changing UI language or fonts does not rewrite slide fonts.

New documents use the bundled Noto Sans SC Variable. Authored content keeps its explicit font. Missing fonts are reported instead of silently pretending the layout is identical.

The inspector controls family, size, weight, spacing, line height and color. Advanced mode exposes OpenType features including ligatures, kerning, numerals and stylistic sets. Availability depends on the font.

Cloud storage does not upload all installed fonts. Use explicitly available fonts when another device must reproduce the layout.
