Projection and obstructions

In Settings → Projection and obstructions, drag a rectangle on the slide diagram or add a zone. Name it and adjust its left, top, width and height percentages. A zone can represent a physical object, cropping or an obstructed viewing angle; name and position it for the actual venue.

Red guides appear in the editor, filmstrip and presenter preview, never in audience output. Design checks locate objects intersecting these zones; they do not move content.

The venue profile is stored in this browser and read by same-origin presenter and audience tabs. It is separate from the document and does not synchronize to another computer.

Projection check in the presenter toolbar displays corner, grayscale and color patterns on the audience screen. Inspect cropping, distinct gray steps and small text, then return to the presentation.

Increased contrast affects only audience output. It can change image colors, so inspect the actual screen. A browser cannot measure a projector or perform ICC or hardware calibration without measurement equipment.
